Parent model and fashion blogger Lauren Scruggs said today that their daughter is responsive and made a slow recovery after he suffered severe injuries as a result of deliberately running into small propeller aircraft.
Scruggs, of Plano, Texas, edits the online magazine fashion and also has been working in the wardrobe of the TV show “Gossip Girl.” 23-year-old suffered horrific injuries including loss of his hand Saturday night after having just finished up a single-engined aircraft to get a view of the Christmas lights with a friend.
The Pilot landed at the airport, North of Dallas when Scruggs came out of the aircraft and walked directly to the propeller. The left propeller sliced his face and shoulders and cut his left hand. He’s been s Park hospitals in Dallas.
“Yesterday was a good day, there are a lot of progress was really positive,” said Jeff Scruggs, Lauren’s father, “Good Morning America” Tuesday. “They take his tube in the afternoon. He didn’t talk soon … I told Lauren would you say ‘ hi ‘ to the father, and he goes, ‘ hi. ‘ Then he was one of Cheryl’s sister that she loves him. This is so encouraging to us. He’s really uncomfor because You can imagine. “
